In this three-part series, Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein reads and explains Maimonides' Laws of Avodah Zarah (ch. 1). While Maimonides' work is written in Hebrew, Rabbi Klein reads that Hebrew and translates it into understandable English, all the while providing the Scriptural and Rabbinic background into Maimonides' explanations. These lectures were delivered in front of a live audience at Yeshivat Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem in April 2018. They are based on Rabbi Klein's research for his upcoming book God versus gods: Judaism in the Age of Idolatry (Mosaica Press, 2018).
